It’s a tribute to my undying passion for 70s American muscle cars, especially that legendary Dodge Challenger! That was a childhood dream of mine, you know!
That stunningly beautiful, curvaceous form, somehow cramming in an impossibly huge, large-displacement engine, and then unleashing that brutal, earth-shattering torque to send white smoke billowing from the tires as it tears through the streets of New York City at night in a wild, insane drift…!
Just thinking about it gives me an insane adrenaline rush – that deep, guttural, rumbling roar of the V8 engine, and that feeling of raw, aggressive, “kick-you-in-the-back” acceleration! It’s truly a case of “Power is Justice!” “This is a real man’s machine!” right? (lol). In this song, I’ve tried to pack all that slightly unhinged, yet supremely cool and untamed wild power and raw excitement of 70s muscle cars, along with the free-spirited, rebellious vibe of that era, cramming my dreams tightly onto the heavy low-end of funk metal and the explosive sound of fuzz guitars.
Forget all logic and reason. I just want you to crank this up loud on your car stereo, stomp hard on the gas pedal, and I really just want to leave all your daily stress and frustrations far, far behind in the taillights.
