Nanasuke presents the energetic and catchy pop-rock number “Soto ni Deyou” (Let’s Go Outside). To your heart, perhaps feeling stressed by the current situation, this song calls out powerfully with its direct lyrics and sound, urging you to “Open your heart, I want to fly freely in the light!” Punchy drums, a delightfully syncopated guitar riff, and a soaring female vocal will lead you to a new adventure. The door to the future – it’s for you to open with your own hands, “while truly feeling yourself.”
Believe that with such determination, and by taking that very first step, a brilliant new story will begin.
This song, “Soto ni Deyou” (Let’s Go Outside), sings about the truth that, in the deepest sense, “only you yourself can truly change your current situation.” I, too, have personally experienced many things in the past – being undutiful to my parents, significant failures in my work, family discord, and the sudden passing of someone I looked up to as an older brother. There were certainly times when I was in a state of self-abandonment.
And this year, my music mentor also passed away. This was someone to whom I am profoundly indebted; the “me” of today, the “current me,” exists in large part because of their incredible support and guidance.
From these numerous experiences, what I came to keenly realize is that “no matter how far a person goes, in the end, they are fundamentally alone.” And the unavoidable truth that even in the closest of marriages, “the moment of death is faced entirely alone.”
That is precisely why I learned that relying on others, negating others, or constantly worrying about how others evaluate you, while it might offer temporary comfort, ultimately produces nothing substantial and, in the end, just becomes “a sheer waste of time.”
So, with this song, I simply want to convey this: “For now, just try stepping outside.” Even a tiny first step might change something from that very point. From this very moment, your “true time,” in the most genuine and meaningful sense, might just start to move forward anew!
